We from WW2 Market Garden try to collect as many stories as possible for the website to share with the world. Many of the stories on the website are written by participants of the operation or by citizens who lived in the area where the operation took place. Some stories were sent to us by family members of veterans who participated in Operation Market Garden. The ‘Their story’ section is an ongoing process. We write and add stories, but we are very much interested in your story, or the story of your father, brother, uncle or cousin who participated in Operation Market Garden. If you have a story that you are willing to share, please contact us.
There is no format to use and it doesn’t matter if it’s a small(er) story of an incident, a specific situation or all the wartime experiences. Any story that has a connection to Operation Market Garden is appreciated.
